Northwestern Medicine Bloomingdale spine and pain management clinic designed for hassle-free future expansion
A first-floor renovation creates a full-service center for acute and chronic pain diagnosis, treatment, and management. Separate entries access a general exam/clinical area and a physical therapy area. Each group of exam rooms shares a team pod for staff, and the clinic offers two procedure spaces: a traditional X-ray room and a C-arm room for intraoperative imaging.
The 12,000-square-foot space is designed to accommodate growth. The team pods, for instance, can easily be converted into more exam rooms. Moreover, two rooms are fitted out for the future installation of additional X-ray and C-arm devices.
